MIAMI-BASED artist Popeye Caution is optimistic that his upcoming singles will climb the Dancehall/Reggae and Pop charts! Popeye Caution, whose real name is Marlon Reid, was born in Hughenden in St Andrew and migrated to the United States. His popularity grew organically from being a socialite in the electric dance scene of South Florida. He was founder of the dance crew, Caution, which is considered one of the most well-known underground dancehall and hip-hop crews.
The dance element allowed him to showcase his skills on a large scale! He was featured in many videos including Trina's “Long Heel Red Bottom” and Sean Kingston’s “Fire Burning”. Popeye also toured with Elephant Man, Mavado, Beenie Man and many more.
